Thank you very much to all players, coaches, parents, umpires, scorers, timekeepers and anyone else who helped to make today such a successful occasion for the TDNA. A large crowd was there to watch some fantastic netball and the TDNA come away with 3 wins from 3 in our first appearance in the AFL Victoria Country Championships.
The Open team led from the start taking an 11-6 lead into the 1st break. Fifteen year old Shaylah House from Barnawartha and sixteen year old Rebecca Evans were given their first opportunities at senior representative netball and both played well. In her first time appearance in TDNA colours Tallangatta's Karina Cameron was ferocious in defence taking down many intercepts then driving the ball into attack and earnt herself the best on court medallion in the process.

17 & Under
Nerves got the better of the TDNA players in the first quarter trailing by 5 at the 1st break. A strong defensive effort created plenty of opportunities and the girls steadily worked their way back to trial by only 1 goal going into the final term. A determined last quarter effort from all players saw the TDNA come away with an exciting 3 goal win. Best on Court went to defender Ebony Williams from Wodonga Saints.

15 & Under
The 15 & Under match was a showcase of some of the best junior players around, with the team of skilful and talented players putting on a show for the large crowd. A convincing 19 goal lead at quarter time lead to a rethink from coach Claire Megarrity and allowed players to show their versatility at both ends of the court. Best on court was awarded to Shaylah House from Barnawartha.
